Amplify Success Stories.
Accelerate the Cure.

Parkinson’s disease is the fastest-growing neurological disease in the world.

Discovering a cure takes more than medicine—it takes a movement of Success Stories.

My dad, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2001, and I began our Parkinson's journey in 2004 when we road-tripped 20k miles in two months to see a game at each of the 30 MLB stadiums. The award-winning Boys of Summer documentary series continues more than two decades later. This nonprofit and my PhD are dedicated to him. We invoke his Pay it Forward ethos in using Success Stories™ to continue the hero's journey toward the impossible: finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.

"If there's a positive side to Parkinson's, this must be it,"

The Problem, Why it Matters & The Solution

Give me three steps...

1) Find → Discover your hidden story that reflects the Parkinson’s Hero's journey via universal human themes.

2) Shape → Craft it into a clear, resonant narrative that educates, entertains, and inspires.

3) Share → Deliver it to grow our support and mobilize action, including funding, policy change, and research.

“Tell us your story” is a losing call to action

Most people don’t know what makes a story engaging. Weak stories hurt fundraising & deaden policy pressure.

People who don't know how or have support to learn how to tell Success Stories™ often mistakenly think they don't even have a story to tell.

The power of  stories is undeniable.

We are neurologically hard-wired to be attracted to, understand, and react to stories that impact us emotionally.

Success Stories™ have raised awareness, funding and shifted the entire sphere of a disease state, policy and people.

Example: HIV/AIDS (Silence = Death)

Success Stories™ =

Amplification in Action

Many stories fail because they don’t connect. Success Stories™ change that. Through our Cinema Therapy classes, we help people with Parkinson’s and their families turn lived experience into narratives that change lives through this three-step solution:
